neodocNeoDoc is a complete IT infrastructure covering all the aspects of office documentation handling. It is a reliable and scalable system built on the leading Oracle IT infrastructure. It is a flexible and easy adaptable, modularly designed system in which clients can choose the functionalities and subsystems (modules) they are going to implement, with the opportunity of introducing new modules and covering new areas of work at any time. In this way clients can introduce the system at their own pace and optimal budget spending.

Finally, NeoDoc is a product built by Neocom completely on the Oracle and JAVA technologies, and as such provides the clients maximum openness to their product enhancements and systems integrations requests.

The NeoDoc solutions is a ever-growing software infrastructure composed of one basic and 9 optional independent modules, so clients can select to purchase only the subsystems covering the functionalities that they require.

NeoDoc Base NeoDoc Base is the basic subsystem that provides the common functionalities needed for the system to function as a complete integrated high quality solution.  Nevertheless, it can be used also as a sole subsystem, for it introduces some very important and useful features:
    Document management server;
    Visually rich and user friendly interface, completely localized for many languages;
    Definition and usage of office templates;
    Document versioning and history;
    Content search for more than 300 document formats;
    Integration with numerous office applications and application suits for document editing;
    Built-in open document management standards;
    System Administration;
    Services for alternate access through different protocols;
    Easy and dynamic management with the application resources.

AR Option (Archive management) -  represents an additional NeoDoc module that enhances the existing NeoDoc environment with functions and utilities that implement all the legal regulations, procedures and limitations for keeping and maintaining a document archive. By function, the AR option provides:
    Complete implementation of the book of archiving signs;
    Keeping document book records;
    Association of documents in issues and maintaining the correct document numbering;
    Keeping mail books for documentation sent and received by mail;
    Generation and printing of archiving reports;
    Automatic reporting of expired documentation;
    Unification in treatment and evidence for all types of official documents, regardless the media as paper and electronic documents are being treated the same way.

NeoDoc UniScan Option represents a complete JAVA based solution for document scanning, covering a wide range of imaging devices from home scanners to robust document center hardware. The module is completely platform independent and utilizes the SANE multiplatform protocol, while it contains TWAIN support also for SANE incompatible hardware.

Fax Integration Option provides integration of the fax service with the document management system. It contains services for sending and receiving faxes from NeoDoc, and a shared address book. This subsystem can work together with the AR Option, providing management of the faxes into the archiving evidence. NeoDoc Fax Integration Option supports integration with a great number of popular fax service products, such as WinFAX, FaxServe, Bitware, MS Fax etc.

EMAIL Option provides email integration into the NeoDoc system. Functionalities that work for all documents also work for the email documents. The EMAIL Option supports any SMTP/IMAP/POP3 compatible service, including MS Exchange, Netscape, Eudora, SendMail etc.

NeoDoc Workflow Option enhances the document management system with document workflow management subsystem. It allows designing strictly defined flowcharts called workflow templates that can be applied to documents or document templates. These workflow templates control the entire processing and lifetime of the documents involved. As a workflow management engine is used Oracle Workflow, so workflows can also be extended into third party applications running on the Oracle Database.

SnailMail Option covers the integration of the document output with the classic paper mail distribution. NeoDoc SnailMail Option provides centralized management of the printing services, so manual operations with the paper processing can be put to minimum.

NeoDoc OCR Option provides OCR (optical character recognition) of all the documents that are being scanned or received by fax, and creation of editable versions in common office formats. During this process, the original is maintained as the first version in its original format, and the next version is the recognized document in RTF,XLS,HTM or DOC file format.

NeoDoc P2WF Option is a very interesting component that binds the gap between the paper and electronic media, as groupware, e-mail/messaging and document management systems.

NeoDoc PDF Option provides a way of complete standardization of the electronic documentation into Adobe Acrobat PDF format. This allows document format unification even in very mixed environments (like companies that use various workstations based on Windows/Linux/Mac platforms), as almost all popular operating systems have tools for reading and processing these documents.  

NeoDoc E-Signature Option upgrades the NeoDoc Base verification utility with full implementation of electronic signature. For that manner, there needs to be installed a PKI infrastructure for management of the certificates. The personal signature as the private key can be implemented as minidisk or chip-card.
NeoDoc E-Signature Option provides the electronic documents with legal validity and equal legal treatment as the written signed paper documents, according to the law for electronic signatures.
As a certificate authority solution can be used any commercial PKI solution supporting the Adobe Acrobat package.
