Neokom AD Skopje celebrates the 10th anniversary of neoCloud – a leading provider of cloud solutions for the Macedonian market
Skopje, 06.11.2024 – Neokom AD Skopje, a company with more than three decades of experience in the ICT industry, marked the 10-year anniversary of its brand for cloud services – neoCloud. The event, which took place at the Panoramika hotel, attracted business partners, clients and IT experts, who had the opportunity to learn about the company’s significant achievements and future plans.
Neocom was founded in 1990, and has been operating under its current name since 1997. Through continuous investments and development, the company has grown into a leader in the ICT market. In 2004, Neocom founded the telecommunications operator Neotel, while it’s cloud services in 2014 under the neoCloud brand. Furthermore, in 2018, Neocom launched its new brand neoDC – a data center offering colocation services, which further strengthened the company’s position as an innovator in ICT services in the country.
As part of the celebration, the company announced the expansion of neoDC data centers outside of Skopje, in order to ensure even greater availability and reliability for its customers. This project is part of Neocom’s strategy for constant development and improvement of the infrastructure, which enables Macedonian companies to have a reliable digital transformation, as well as to expand and increase cooperation with many foreign companies.
During the event, Neocom presented the growth and development of the neoCloud infrastructure, as well as the achievements and progress of current services and new solutions. VDC (Virtual Data Center) service based on VMware technologies, provides hosting of IT resources in a virtual data center with full flexibility and control for users, which allows them to manage virtual machines, networks and storage, provided with advanced security measures. BRS (Backup and Replication Services) offers security and continuity of users’ data by creating backup and replication from their own systems in neoCloud. Data is protected by Veeam technologies, which enables immutable backups and fast recovery in case of data loss from accidental deletion or cyber attack, as well as serious incidents with the underlying equipment.
At the celebration, neoCloud also presented its advanced software solutions that are part of neoCloud services. neoDoc is a digital document management (DMS) and business process automation (BPM) system, as well as Pulse – a mass email delivery and subscriber management platform. In line with the global trends, the company offers integrated managed services of Microsoft 365 and Sophos, which provide users with complete collaboration and security solutions for the modern workplace.
